A workbook by Vincent Hofmann & Simon Kindle both residents at Paviljoen aan het Water Rotterdam 2022

Second expanded edition Published by _957 Independent Art Magazine in June 2023

with the support of Charlois aan het Water foundation, Kulturstiftung Liechtenstein & Kulturkommission Gemeinde Adligenswil

This publication illustrates various conversations, ideas, project approaches that Vincent Hofmann and Simon Kindle were engaged in, phrased and drafted during their residency in Rotterdam. As a starting point for their discussion, they chose the shape of an egg, a shape that represents the greatest possible contrast to the ubiquitous rectangular transport containers that characterise the image of Rotterdam. In a first version, this collection was already published in 2022 in the context of the exhibition "We are all guests #10" at Foundation B.a.d. (NL). In this supplemented form it will be reissued for the Festival op Zuid - Once a guest always welcome (NL) 2023. In the following months, the publication will accompany the performative installation Eirad on its tour. Eirad is an artistic work that originated from one of the approaches outlined in the book.
